8. Refund Policy

  • Janachetana Foundation maintains a structured and transparent refund policy to safeguard donor interests and ensure accountability in the processing of donations. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy in donation processing, in the event of an erroneous debit or where a donor seeks cancellation of a donation, Janachetana Foundation shall review and respond to such requests within ten (10) working days from the date of receipt of the written complaint from the donor.
  • Refunds, where applicable, shall be processed based on the payment instrument used at the time of the transaction, and the timeline for credit shall be subject to the policies and processing cycles of the respective banks or payment service providers. To initiate a refund request, the donor must submit documentary proof of the donation debit along with a written request for refund within two (2) days from the date of the donation.
  • Where a donation receipt has already been issued, the donor shall be required to return the original receipt to the official address of Janachetana Foundation prior to the processing of any refund. Refunds shall not be permissible in cases where a tax exemption certificate has already been issued against the donation.
  • Donors may submit refund or cancellation requests through the official communication channels of Janachetana Foundation.
